The town with the famous leaning tower is set to once again host Round 5 of the 2016 season, 11 months after a freak wind storm blighted the race at the same venue last year.

“Teluk Intan has always been one of the most popular stops on the Cub Prix calendar. It is one of the few venues where the race is held virtually right in the middle of town. It was a pity that the race was disrupted by the storm last year. We were only thankful that the storm did not result in any injuries. This year, teams, riders and officials alike are praying for fine weather,” said Shafry Azizan, Cub Prix’s Operations Chief.
